2015-16: Competed in two tournaments, totaling three rounds of action…Shot a 154 (76-78) at the Ryan Lee Memorial Tournament.
2014-15: Played two tournaments and four total rounds…Shot a 166 (84-82) at the Towson Invitational…Carded a 163 the heels of a second-day 79 at the Til Duty Is Done Collegiate Invitational.
2013-14: MAAC Individual Champion/McLeod Trophy Winner … NCAA Tournament Participant … Appeared in 23 rounds over 10 tournaments, averaging 78 strokes per 18 holes. He made his collegiate debut at the ECAC Championship, carding a two-round score of 161 to place ninth overall. He finished 14th overall at the MU Hawk Invitational, shooting an 81. Opened the 2014 MAAC Championship with a career-best 73 in the first round, and shot a combined 225 to captured the MacLeod Trophy and seal a berth in the NCAA Tournament. At the NCAA Regional in Columbia, Mo., he posted a three-round score of 236.
2012-13: Taylor did not compete as a freshman.
High School: Taylor earned three varsity letters at Pomperaug High School, leading the Panthers to 38 victories in that time. He was team captain his senior season, pacing the squad to a 15-1 mark as he earned All-SWC First Team accolades for the second consecutive year.
Personal: Son of Karen and James Taylor and has an older brother, Nick, who was a four-year letterwinner with the Fairfield golf team.
