BEFORE FAIRFIELD: A guard out of Ardsley, N.Y., Foley made her name from behind the arc, coming off one of the most successful seasons of her career being named the Class B Player of the Year by the New York State Sportswriters Association. Foley became the third-straight Stag recruit to garner the prestigious award (Kristen McLaughlin and Christa Scognamiglio). During that season, Foley stepped up when her team needed her the most, pouring in 22 points to bring the Panthers into the Class B finals. Foley scored most of her points in that contest due to the defensive pressure that she put on No. 3 Westlake, holding the Wildcats to 39 points. The two-year team captain was selected an All-League honor three times, named to the All-Section squad twice, and was on the All-State team during her senior year...Foley was one of the best athletes in the area, also competing on the volleyball and softball teams while at Ardsley. Foley led her volleyball squad as an outside hitter to an undefeated 22-0 regular season in 2013 and a spot in the Class B Championship game.
