BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Fairfield University softball dropped a pair of games this evening which included the completion of its game with Florida Atlantic which was suspended after rain earlier in the week. The Stags were edged 2-1 by Fordham and followed with a 3-0 setback to FAU.

In the FAU game, Fairfield nearly doubled up FAU in the hit column but could not push any runs across the plate. Amanda Ulzheimer and Alisha Marshall both posted a pair of hits, while five other Stags collected a hit in the game. PItcher Destinee Pallotto allowed only one earned run in her six innings of work, fanning six batters and yielding five hits.
