UConn Drops Stags

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Fairfield University women's tennis team lost a non-conference match at UConn on Tuesday afternoon. The Huskies bested the Stags 7-0.

UConn first swept the Stags in doubles action winning 6-1 at No. 1, 6-3 in the second spot, and 6-2 in the third position. The Huskies then won all six singles matches in straight-sets. Sarah Stuhlmann fell at No. 1 6-2, 6-1. Nicole Aragones lost at No. 2 6-1, 6-0. And at No. 3 Diana Prinos fell 6-1, 6-1.

The Stags take to the courts tomorrow when they visit Wagner at 2:00 p.m.
