Ross Stride enters his second season on the women’s soccer coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach. Stride has spent the last three season at the University of Bridgeport, as well as coaching several youth groups from around the area.

Stride spent the last three seasons at the Bridgeport, where he helped the Purple Knights to back-to-back NCAA Division II Tournament appearances and several national rankings. With his help, Bridgeport received several individual accolades for student-athletes including Tabia Rauschenberger, Julia Hansson and Danielle Puddefoot being named to the 2013 Daktronics All-American teams, with Hansson being the first player in program history being named to the Capital One Academic All-American First Team. Julia Weidenmark and Nicola Worthington were named to the All-ECC First Team last season.

Locally, Stride has coached in several CFC youth programs and is currently the U13, U14 Sporting KC BV Elite Clubs National League Head Coach. From 2009-2012, Stride coached the KCFC Premier Soccer Club, comprised of several Division I and National Team players.

Stride, a native of Scotland, graduated from Park University in 2005 with a degree in history.
