CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Olivia Brooks, a 2016 Fairfield University graduate, has been named an All-American Scholar by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. Brooks was an All-MAAC performer for the Stags’ golf team while earning Dean’s List honors as a Biology Pre-Med major with a minor in Mathematics.

Now a two-time WGCA All-American Scholar, Brooks is also a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team selection. She wrapped up her collegiate career as Fairfield’s nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award.

On the course, Brooks was Fairfield’s top finisher at the 2016 MAAC Championship with an All-MAAC, sixth-place performance at the conference tournament. She also shared medalist honors at the Sacred Heart Tri-Match. Previously in her career, she won the individual 2014 ECAC Championship while leading the Stags to their first of two consecutive team titles.

To be eligible for a WGCA All-American Scholar Award, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher while competing for her team in at least 50 percent of their total rounds played.
