NCAA WBB Championship Regional Tickets On Sale

            FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- All-session packages and individual date tickets are now on sale for the 2017 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship Bridgeport Regional. Fans have the option of purchasing an all-session package which includes both days of the regional or an individual session through Ticketmaster. Fairfield University and UConn will host the event on March 25 and 27 at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport.

            The all-session pass prices range from $35 to $59 while the individual ticket prices range from $20 to $35. NCAA tickets may not be offered as a prize in a promotion, sweepstakes or contest, or auctioned for fundraising purposes unless authorized in advance by the NCAA. The NCAA reminds fans that purchasing tickets from secondary unauthorized vendors may result in fraudulent purchases.

            The Bridgeport Regional is one of four sites that will feed the 2017 Final Four which takes place in Dallas, beginning with the national semifinals on March 31. The national championship game is scheduled for April 2. The other regional sites include Lexington, Ken. (Rupp Arena), Oklahoma City, Okla. (Chesapeake Energy Arena) and Stockton, Calif. (Stockton Arena).

            UConn and Fairfield University hosted the 2016 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship Regional as well with the Huskies claiming the regional title by defeating the University of Texas in the regional final. This will be the fourth time that the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship Regional will be played in Bridgeport as the facility also hosted in 2006, 2013, and 2016. Fairfield University hosted the women's basketball regional in 2006 and co-hosted with the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in 2013 and with UConn in 2016.
