General:  Jenna Slowey returns for her third season with the Stags, having played in 35 games and scoring 53 points.  She has three career game-winning goals and touched net 34 times.
 
Off the Field:  Slowey is majoring in Marketing. She earned selection to the University’s Dean’s List her first three semesters at Fairfield and is a four-time member of the Department of Athletics 3.0 Club. Slowey took part in numerous community service efforts, including Beach Clean-up and the Stags annual Girl Scout Clinic and lived in the Environmental Community as a sophomore.
 
2012: MAAC All-Academic Team! Slowey appeared in all 17 games for the Stags as a sophomore and received a starting nod in 15 of those contests.  She finished the season with 30 points, fourth on the team, and was second with 14 assists.  Slowey had at least one point in every game and went for multiple points in 10 games. She scored a hat trick, including the game-winner against Niagara.  Her first career game-winner came against Lehigh and she then tallied the decisive tally in the win over Siena in the MAAC Championships. Slowey had three points in the win over Iona, with a goal and two assists. After scoring twice against Canisius, she rattled off five consecutive games with an assist, through the MAAC semifinal.  She finished the campaign with nine ground balls and two draw controls.
 
2011: MAAC Rookie of the Week, 3/1, 4/26! Slowey saw action in all 18 games the Stags played during her rookie season and finished sixth on the squad with 18 goals.  All told she tallied 23 points, good for seventh on the squad.  Slowey scored her first collegiate goal as part of a hat trick in the Stags home win over Quinnipiac.  She would net two goals in the next outing against Holy Cross and finished the year with five multi-goal efforts.  Slowey twice reached four points in a game, the first time with a two-goal, two-assist effort in a win over Niagara and then again with a hat trick and assist in the regular season finale.  She had a goal and an assist, along with her first career caused turnover during MAAC Tournament action.  Slowey scooped up her third ground ball of the year in the win over Iona in the MAAC semifinals.
 
High School: Slowey earned three varsity letters at Moorestown High School and helped the Quakers to 71 victories, and three BCSL Championships, in that time period.  She finished her career with 96 points, touching net 50 times, and picking up 42 ground balls. A 2010 US Lacrosse Champion High School Showcase selection, Slowey was named to the All-BCSL First Team after scoring 35 times and handing out 28 assists.  She was selected as a team captain in her final season with the program.
 
Personal: Jenna Claire Slowey is the daughter of Nora and Vincent Slowey, both members of the Fairfield Class of 1977, with her father playing football for the Stags.  She has four siblings, her two brothers – Chris ’06 and Matt ’08 – both Fairfield graduates, and two younger sisters.
