NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Danielle Dalessandro carded a three-round 252 to lead the Fairfield University women’s golf team at the Quinnipiac Classic. The Stags landed at 11th on the team leaderboard after 54 holes at New Haven Country Club.

Dalessandro’s team-best score landed her in a tie for 22nd place in the 63-golfer field. Her final-round 82 tied the second-round mark turned in by Molly Hair as the low round for a Stags this week. Arianna Palmeri, Chelsea Donovan and Ceilie Reynolds also took the course for Fairfield.

St. John’s ran away with the team title, firing a three-day 946 to top Albany by 23 strokes. The Red Storm was led by Kirsty Beckwith, who earned medalist honors with a 226 to beat the field by nine shots.

Fairfield concludes its fall slate next week with two days at Milford’s Great River Golf Club for the SHU Fall Classic on Oct. 16-17.
