Stags Cap Fall Schedule at St. Johnís Invitational

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Led by a 15th-place finish from Danielle Dalessandro, the Fairfield University wrapped up the fall in the fifth place at the St. John’s Invitational. Dalessandro’s final-round 81 was the best round for a Stag in the 36-hole affair at The Saint Andrew’s Golf Club.

Dalessandro turned in a two-day score of 168 – 15th place overall but just five strokes outside of the top-10 in a packed field. Taylor Rogers was four shots behind her teammate in 20th place with a 172 with Arianna Palmeri right behind her in 21st with a 176. Madison Banas added 180 to round out the Fairfield scoring.

The host Red Storm won their home tournament by 17 strokes, led by the week’s top two individual performers. Linda Wang carded a pair of 75s to win medalist honors with a 150 (+6). Her teammate Kirsty Beckwith was one shot behind her at 151 (+7) fueled by the event’s low round with a 74 on Monday.
