The University's Lyons-Lademan Athletic Fund is the established vehicle to support varsity and club teams at Fairfield. The Fund honors the memory of two individuals who demonstrated the powerful role competitive athletics plays in the formation of the whole person. Rev. Thomas J. Lyons, S.J. served as the University's Athletic Director from 1952 to 1963. Jerry Lademan was a true scholar athlete and exemplified the ideals to which Fairfield athletics aspire.

Gifts to the Lyons-Lademan Athletic Fund may be restricted to the benefit of a specific varsity or club team, intramural program, the general athletic fund, or athletic services such as sports medicine and sports information.
