
The Fairfield University Sports Information office seeks to
provide assistance to the media in its coverage of the Stags 20
varsity Division I sports. This page is intended to provide a brief
overview of the Sports Information policies, as well as services
offered to media outlets. Should you have additional
questions, please contact a member of the Sports Information staff
and we will be happy to assist you.

INFORMATION & INTERVIEWS
Requests for additional information, interviews and photographs
should be directed to the Sports Information Office.
Interviews will not be granted unless first approved and arranged
by the Sports Information Office. Interviews will not be
granted on game-days prior to the competition.
WORKING CREDENTIALS
To eliminate any misunderstandings all media credential requests
must be made 24 hours in advance of a home competition.
Because of limited space priority will be given to those outlets
that cover the participating teams on a regular basis. To
request a credential please contact the Sports Information contact
of the specific sport. Credentials will be held at the
‘Will Call’ area, or at the venues ticket entrance.
MEDIA SERVICES
Complete team and individual statistics will be provided
approximately 20 minutes after the game, when appropriate.
Post game interviews will be conducted at a location designated by
the Sports Information staff, after the NCAA required cooling off
period.
TELEPHONE & FAX
A fax machine and telephones are available post game on a
first-come, first-served basis. For events on campus these
services are located in the Sports Information office. At the
Arena at Harbor Yard, fax and phone are available in the media
room, as well as phone lines on press row.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
A photo pass is required to take photographs at Fairfield
University sporting events. Photographers may secure a pass
by contacting the Sports Information office at least 24 hours in
advance of the scheduled contest. Photographers are not
allowed in the team bench area of any sporting event. Various
events will have additional restrictions on photographer
locations. Please confirm with the Sports Information staff
regarding appropriate locations to shoot.
PARKING
Parking for on campus events is limited and is available on a
first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early to maximize
parking location. Parking at the Arena at Harbor Yard is
available in the parking garage located next to the Arena for a
fee.
