2008-09 Schedule

Fairfield swimming and diving released its 2008-09 schedule. The Stags slate is highlighted by seven meets at the RecPlex this season and will competition at two invitationals. 

Fairfield opens competition on the road, travelling to Holy Cross on October 11. The Stags' home opener is the following week against St. Peter's. The entire team will then compete at the William McCarthy Invitational at the New York Athletic Club on October 19. The women's team wraps up the month with a match-up against Siena on October 25. 

Fairfield will host Providence on November 1 before travelling to Marist on November 8. The Stags return home for a double dual against Manhattan and Bryant University before going to the Harold Anderson Invitational at the University of Rhode Island, December 5-6. 

After winter break, the Stags resume action on January 17 at the RecPlex with a meet against NJIT. The final home meet will be on January 24 against Yale. Fairfield wraps up the regular season on January 31 with a double-dual meet against Iona and Loyola in New Rochelle, N.Y. 

The 2009 MAAC Championships will be held February 12-14 at Loyola while the ECAC Championships are set for February 27-March 1 in Boston, Mass.
