The women's swimming and diving team continued is stellar performance in the classroom as they posted the highest collective grade point average out of Fairfield's 20 varsity programs for the third-straight semester. They posted a 3.39 GPA for the Fall 2008 semester.

This past fall, 20 of the 25 team members earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher, including 11 members on the University's Dean's List. During the 2007-08 academic year the women's swimming team posted the highest team GPA with a 3.43.
