STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The Fairfield University men's women's swimming and diving teams fell to Stony Brook, on Saturday afternoon at University Pool. The women's team fell 163-76, while the men fell by a count of 182-57.

The men's team falls to 2-9 on the season, while the women's team falls to 6-7 on the season.

Senior Bridget McKeon led the women's team with a win in the 500-yard freestyle with a 5:18.87. McKeon also finished second in the 1650-yard freestyle with an 18:12.99.

Junior Jennifer Masi finished third in the 200-yard freestyle with a 2:02.66.

Sophomore Robert Devine led the men's team with a second place in the 1650-yard freestyle with a 17:44.50.

Matt McAndrew finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a 1:04.55.

The women's team returns to action on Friday, Feb. 3 with a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) dual match with Manhattan. The meet will begin at 6:30 p.m. The men's team will now prepare for the MAAC Championships, February 16-18.
