LOYOLA, Md. - The Fairfield University men's and women's swimming and diving teams completed the second day of competition at the MAAC Championships this evening at Loyola College's Fitness and Aquatic Center.
The women wrapped up the day by maintaining their grasp on fourth-place overall with a total of 290 points. Marist's women's team holds a slim leads over second-place Rider by a score of 475-474 while Loyola sits in third-place with 409 points.
On the men's side, the Stags moved into sixth-place overall and are only seven points from overtaking fifth-place Niagara. Marist's men stole the lead from Rider and lead the Broncs, 568-541, while Loyola remains in third-place with a score of 375.
Individual results are not available at this time.
The third and final day of the Championships is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 10 a.m., with the evening session scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
