ECAC Results

BOSTON- Fairfield University senior Brittany Hunter (Mt. Kisco, N.Y.) closed out her final season in a big way, becoming a part of her 20th school record during the Stags' final day of competition at the 2007 ECAC Swimming & Diving Championships hosted by Harvard University.

Hunter broke the 20-year-old school record in the 200 yard butterfly in the prelims of the event. She posted a time of 2:10.70 which bested the mark of 2:12.10 set by Lauren McCann on February 14, 1987. Hunter placed 16th overall in the event, posting a time of 2:11.21 in the consolation final. Hunter will leave Fairfield holding 13 individual records and as a part of seven of Fairfield's nine possible relay records.

In the men's 200 breaststroke, sophomore Drew Kingman (Wilton, Conn.) captured the consolation final to place ninth overall with a time of 2:10.52.

Junior Liz Lawlor (North Wales, Pa.) placed 17th overall in the women's 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:32.48.

Swimming in her final event of her career, senior Jennifer Masi (North Haven, Conn.) placed 30th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 56.79 seconds. Masi, who became Fairfield's first female swimmer to win a MAAC title, will leave Fairfield with 12 school records (eight relay, four individual).

In the men's 1-meter diving, freshman Taylor Stecko (South Windsor, Conn.) posted a mark of 209.75 which was good for eighth place.

The women's team finished 12th overall out of 32 teams while the men finished 15th out of a field of 32 teams.
