Final Stats

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Fairfield University women's cross country team finished third, while the men's cross country team finished fourth at the 28th running of the Fairfield University Cross Country Invitational, on Saturday afternoon.

The Siena College men's team won the men's team title, while the Sacred Heart women's team took home the women's crown.

On the men's side the Stags were led by senior Bryan Mahoney, who finished fourth overall with a 26:46.4. sophomore Justin Rindos finished second on the team with a 27:57.4, followed by junior Devin Hagan with a 28:24.5, freshman Craig Sabatini with a 28:40.3, freshman AJ Lawrence with a 28:48.9, junior AJ Kastanotis with a 28:54.9, and freshman Matt Ginn with a 29:19.7.

The Fairfield women were led by senior Stephanie Stote with a 20:02.5 for an eighth place overall finish. Senior Lauren Wilson was second on the team and ninth overall with a 20:06.1, followed by junior Shannon Kenefick with a 20:31.5, Kara O'Connell with a 20:49.7, Courtney Kincaid with a 21:08.8, Megan Krueger with a 21:32.3, and Kelli Connors with a 22:33.9.
