FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The 2005 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Cross Country Championships will be broadcast on Sunday, Nov. 13 on College Sports TV (CSTV) at 9 p.m. Highlights from the MAAC Championships, as well as the Big East and Ivy League championships will be aired in the 60-minute show.
All three conference championships took place at the fabled Van Cortlandt Park, in the Bronx, N.Y., on October 28.
The Fairfield men were led by sophomore Matthew Ginn, who finished the 8,000-meter course in 28:57.4. The women's team was led by senior Kara O'Connell who finished the 6,000-meter course in a time of 24:47.8.
CSTV has agreements with distributors representing more than 65 million homes, including the top six distributors: Comcast, Dish Network, DirecTV, Time Warner, Charter, Cox and Adelphia.
The men's and women's teams return to action on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the NCAA Northeast Regional at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.
