2008: Made 13 appearances with 12 starts ... Posted a 2-6 record on the year ... Threw 63.0 innings, yielding a 7.14 ERA, along with 23 strikeouts ... Combined for the shutout at Iona on April 27, throwing seven scoreless innings, scattering five hits while striking out five batters ... Earned first win of the season on April 6, throwing a complete game at St. Peter's, allowing just one run on five hits with two strikeouts.

2007: Made 15 appearances with six starts ... Notched a 2-3 record on the season ... Threw 53.0 innings with 28 strikeouts and a 3.57 ERA ... Earned first win of the year against Stony Brook allowing just one unearned run in 7.2 innings ... Picked up the win at Sacred Heart after scattering five hits and two runs over 6.0 innings of relief with four strikeouts ... Scattered three hits over six innings with eight strikeouts in no-decision against Central Connecticut.

2006: Made 12 starts and posted 4-3 record on the season... Tossed 60 innings on the year, yielding a 7.05 ERA ... Struck out 24 batters ... Made first collegiate start against James Madison ... Earned first collegiate win against Eastern Kentucky, giving up three runs on six hits in five innings of work ... Went 8.1 innings, giving up one run on seven hits and one walk and striking out four, at Iona for longest start of the season ... Held St. John's to one run and two hits in four innings of work ... Struck out five batters against Rider.

Before Fairfield: Ciallella earned two varsity letter playing baseball for Clifton High School ... As a senior he was 7-4 with 75 strikeouts ... He garnered first-team All-NNJIL honors as a senior ... In both his junior and senior seasons he was a first-team All-Passaic County selection ... He captained the team during his senior season, and was voted the team's most valuable player ... He finished his scholastic career with a 13-6 record, while recording 131 strikeouts.
