Drove in 19 runs while touching the plate 13 times ... Struck out just 16 times in 118 at-bats ... Posted 17 multi-hit games ... Ended the season on a seven-game hitting streak ... Hit .455 with nine multi-hit performances in final 15 games ... Went 4-for-8 with two RBI and two runs scored in two games at Delaware State ... Went 3-for-4 against Vermont ... Before Fairfield: Played for the UMass Minutemen for two seasons, appearing in 62 games with a .255 batting average, 25 RBI and 12 runs scored ... As a sophomore started 47 of a team-best 48 games played, hitting .252 on the season and finished second on the team in doubles with nine.

High School: Played for four years at Joel Barlow High School under head coach Keith O'Rourke where he helped lead the team to a 15-8 record in 2002 and an 11-12 mark in 2003 ... His senior year he was MVP, captain, and totaled 32 hits including 10 extra base hits with two triple and two home runs ... Totaled 19 RBI, 22 runs scored, a .415 batting average, a .473 on-base percentage and a .584 slugging percentage ... Played on the Connecticut All-Star team against Massachusetts and the FABL All-Star game at Shea Stadium ... An All-Area selection by the News-Times, a South-West Conference All-Star and an All-State selection by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association his senior year ... Also a four-year member of the football team as a quarterback and tight end.
