Central Michigan Tops Stags 18-0

BRADENTON, Fla. - The Stags concluded its spring break trip with its toughest contest against Central Michigan this afternoon as Fairfield fell 18-0 to the Chippewas.

Central Michigan's Sean Hoorelbeke had a pair of three-run homeruns that powered the 24-hit team performance. Hoorelbeke blasted a three-run shot in the first inning as part of a six-run inning. His second homerun came in the third when CMU scored six more runs to take an early 12-0 lead.

Steve Teno (2-1) earned the win, tossing eight scoreless innings while scattering five hits, five walks and five strikeouts.

Fairfield returns to action on March 11 at Hartford to kick off a five-game road swing.
