Baseball Hosts Canisius This Weekend In Important MAAC Set

The postseason fate of the Stags lies in their final two MAAC regular season series. Fairfield will continue its push towards a tournament berth this weekend as it hosts conference leader Canisius.
The two teams will meet for a doubleheader on Saturday, May 10, at noon followed by a single game on May 11.
The Griffs (35-10, 14-4 MAAC), who hold a three-game lead over the Stags, have won six of their last eight games, most recently sweeping St. Peter's. Fairfield (14-30, 11-7 MAAC) returns to conference play after last week's non-league action. The Stags are coming off a pair of wins at Iona.
Fairfield wraps up the regular season May 15-16 with a three-game series against Manhattan.
