While the location was Fairfield, Conn. and the Stags' baseball coaches were helping to provide instruction, everyone was a Tampa Bay Devil Ray on January 20 as Major League Baseball player Rocco Baldelli appeared at a clinic held at the RecPlex.
Baldelli, the starting centerfielder for the Devil Rays and native of Rhode Island, spent three hours offering advice and instruction on some of the finer points of hitting and fundamentals. He also talked to the group of boys, ages 7-15, about what it's like to play in the Major League.
