BRONX, N.Y. - Due to the two to four inches of snow that fell throughout most of the tri-state area, the Fairfield University baseball team's game scheduled for Friday, March 3, at Fordham University has been postponed.
The Stags and the Rams were scheduled to begin a three-game series on Friday afternoon at Houlihan Park at Jack Coffey Field. No make up date has been announced. Please check either www.fairfieldstags.com, or www.fordhamsports.com for further updates.
As of Friday morning, the remaining games of the series are still scheduled to be played. The series will now begin on Saturday afternoon. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m. Sunday's game is also slated to start at 1 p.m.
Fairfield enters this weekend's series with the Rams 0-3 after opening the season last weekend at James Madison University. Fordham is 2-4 on the young season, after dropping two-of-three to New Orleans.
