BRONX, N.Y. - For the second day in a row, the snowfall that blanketed much of the tri-state area, forced a changed in the Fairfield University baseball series with Fordham University. The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 12 p.m. at Houlihan Park at Jack Coffey Field.

The first game of the twin bill will be nine-innings, and the nightcap will be either nine- or seven-innings. The decision on the length of second game of the series will be made on Sunday.

Fairfield enters this weekend's series with the Rams 0-3 after opening the season last weekend at James Madison. Fordham is 2-4 on the season, after dropping two-of-three to New Orleans University last weekend.

Following this weekend's match up with the Rams, Fairfield will head to Bradenton, Fla. for its annual spring break trip. The Stags will open up their trip to the "Sunshine State" with Duquesne University on Sunday, March 12. The Stags will also face Valparaiso, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Illinois, Indiana, Fairleigh Dickinson, and Bradley University, for seven games in six days.
