FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Fairfield University baseball team will head to Bradenton, Fla. from March 14-18, in which the Stags will play five nine-inning games. The Stags head to the "Sunshine State" after opening the season last weekend at UMBC.

Fairfield opens its southern swing against Northern Illinois at The Baseball Academy. First pitch is slated for 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 14.

On Monday evening, Fairfield will square off with Miami (Ohio) at Manatee Community College. First pitch against Fairfield Assistant Coach Bill Consiglio's former team is slated for 7 p.m.

The Stags will head back to the Baseball Academy on March 16, facing Bucknell at 2:30 p.m. Fairfield then faces Columbia for a St. Patrick's Day 10 a.m., start at Lakewood Ranch.

Fairfield closes out the Florida portion of its 2004 schedule against Dartmouth on March 18, at the Baseball Academy. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
