FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Fairfield University baseball team announced it will have 12 games broadcast this season, on the Fairfield University student radio station, WVOF (88.5 FM). The games can also be heard on WVOF's website www.wvof.org.
The slate began on Tuesday, March 23, when Big East member St. John's University visited Alumni Diamond. WVOF will also broadcast the first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) games of the season, when Marist College comes for town for a doubleheader starting at Noon, on March 27.
The broadcast schedule also includes several longtime foes for the Stags, beginning on April 1, as the Stags face in-state rival the University of Connecticut, April 3, has the Stags facing Canisius College for a MAAC doubleheader. On April 6 the University of Hartford comes to town for a 3:30 p.m. first pitch, followed by Pace on April 13.
The Stags will face another in-state rival Yale on April 21, and Fordham in the last non-conference game of the season on April 28.
The broadcast schedule will conclude on May 8, with defending MAAC champion LeMoyne College visits Alumni Diamond for the last MAAC home series of the season.
