FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Fairfield University baseball's, doubleheader at Marist College, has been moved from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., to the Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn. The venue change was forced, because of snow on the McCann Baseball Field, on Wednesday evening.
First pitch for the first game, at the home field of the Atlantic League's Bridgeport Bluefish, is 5 p.m. The second game is slated to begin 20 minutes following the completion of game 1.
Marist will still be the home team, in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) opener for both teams.
As of Friday afternoon, Monday's nine-inning game is still slated to be played in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Please check back for further updates.
