FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Fairfield University junior Ryan Calabrese (Wantagh, N.Y./Holy Trinity) earned a pair of weekly accolades after a pitching a complete game shutout on March 25 in the Stags' 1-0 win against Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) foe Niagara.
Calabrese was named the Pitcher of the Week by Gotham Baseball Magazine on March 28 and he also earned a spot on the College Baseball Foundation National Honor Roll for the week of March 27.
