BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Fairfield University baseball team hits the road for its first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) road series of the 2003 season, this weekend with a trip to Canisius College.
Fairfield enters the weekend with a 4-13-1 overall record and a 2-4 mark in the MAAC. Canisius comes into the weekend with a 0-15 overall record and are 0-6 in the MAAC.
This weekend's series is the start of a five game road swing for the Stags, as they will travel to the University of Hartford, and the University of Massachusetts before returning to Alumni Diamond next weekend as they host Saint Peter's in a MAAC series.
The Stags will look to win its second MAAC series in a row, after taking two-of-three from Niagara last weekend.
