FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Fairfield University freshman pitcher Dan Gallagher (Allendale, N.J./Bergen Catholic) has been a solid addition to the Fairfield bullpen this season. Entering this weekend's series against Rider University, the right-hander has recorded three saves in 10 appearances.

He has given up only nine earned runs in 22.2 innings of work, and before Saint Peter's pushed across a run with two-outs in the seventh inning on Saturday, had a 12.0 scoreless innings streak snapped. Before giving up that run, he also did not allow an earned run in the last 16.0 innings.
