FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Fairfield University baseball team's game with Pace University originally scheduled for this afternoon at 3:30 p.m., has been rained out. No makeup date has been announced.
Fairfield has been hot as of late winning three of its last four games, including its second Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) series win against Rider last weekend. The Stags are 9-11 overall, and 5-4 in the MAAC.
Fairfield is scheduled to travel to the University of Rhode Island on Wednesday afternoon. First pitch is slated for 3:30 p.m. in Kingston, R.I.
This weekend the Stags will hit the road for its first MAAC series of the season, when they travel to Siena College for a three-game set.
