FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The NCAA has released its first Weekly Statistical Rankings, on Tuesday afternoon, and a pair of Fairfield University baseball players are among the top players in NCAA Division I, in two different categories.
Senior Nick Hudyma (New Britain, Conn./New Britain) is 25th in the Nation in stolen bases with 0.60 per game. The senior second baseman is 12-of-14 in stolen base attempts this season. Hudyma is second in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in stolen bases.

Senior Tom Maisano (Farmingdale, N.Y./Chaminade) is ranked 11th in the country in earned run average with a 1.54 ERA in 35.0 innings of work this season. He has allowed only nine runs, six of which were earned in five appearances. Maisano is 4-0 on the year, which is tied in the MAAC for most wins.
Fairfield has been playing well as of late winning three of its last four, and four of its last six games heading into this weekend's series at Siena. Fairfield is 9-11 overall, and 5-4 in the MAAC.
