FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Fairfield and Iona will have to wait one more day to close out the season series as Sunday's game has been postponed due to the heavy rains in the area. The Stags and the Gaels will attempt to make up the game tomorrow, April 16, at 3 p.m., weather permitting.
Fairfield improved to 6-5 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) by taking the first two games of the series yesterday by scores of 7-2 and 4-0.
