FAIRFIELD, Conn. - For the second consecutive day, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) doubleheader between the Fairfield University baseball team and Marist College has been postponed due to rain.
The twinbill is now slated to be played on Monday afternoon at 12 p.m. at Alumni Field weather permitting.
The Stags enter this weekend series with the Red Foxes with a 6-6 mark in the MAAC, while Marist is 7-5 in conference play. Almost the entire league schedule was washed out, as Canisius swept a doubleheader against Siena winning the first game 21-20, and taking the nightcap, 7-4.
