LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) doubleheader between Fairfield University and Rider, for Saturday, was postponed due to rain. The teams will now play a doubleheader on Sunday, with first pitch slated for 11 a.m.
The third game of the series has not been rescheduled.
Fairfield is 7-8 in the MAAC this season, and has won three of its last four conference games. Rider is 6-9 in the MAAC.
Also, Rider will dedicate its new baseball field, Sonny Pittaro Baseball Field, between games of the twinbill on Sunday.
