Fishkill, N.Y. - Today's MAAC Baseball Tournament game between Fairfield and LeMoyne has been postponed to due inclement weather for a second consecutive day. The Stags and Dolphins are tentatively rescheduled to meet at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, in first round action.
Yesterday's game was suspended in the third inning with the game tied at 3-3. The contest was originally scheduled to be picked up at the point of suspension at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, but will no longer be picked up at that point. The game will be started over as a full nine-inning game and the tournament is now a single-elimination tournament. Iona and Marist will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday in the other first round game. The two winners will meet at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday in the championship game. The MAAC Tournament champion will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
