Men's Basketball

Rob Sisca transfers to Fairfield from the University of Vermont and will not be eligible to play this year per NCAA transfer rules. At Vermont, he played 55 games and averaged 4.1 minutes per outing as a member of the Catamounts basketball team. He averaged 1.4 points per game, scoring 75 points in his 55 appearances. Most of his field goals came from behind the three-point stripe, as 16 of his 26 baskets were three-point shots.  Before enrolling at Vermont, Sisca established school records for three pointers in a season (69) and in a career (173) at Weston High School. He tallied 1,490 points as a member of the Weston basketball team, a total aided by his 22-point scoring average as a senior. He earned All-State honors as a junior and as a senior. He served his teammates as captain during his final season at Weston High School. Sisca also excelled on the golf course, as he collected All-State honors as a senior. He played AAU basketball with the Fairfield County Stars.
