Men's Basketball

Sean Grzeck comes to Fairfield after a successful career at Hoggard High School where he helped the basketball team capture the school's first two sectional championships (2006 and 2007). He earned the Mideastern Conference player of the year award in his senior season after averaging 16 points and nine rebounds per game. Grzeck's post-season awards also included All-Conference and All-Area accolades as a junior and as a senior. He was invited to the East-West All-Star Game in North Carolina, one of 20 players in the state chosen for the honor. He was a teammate with Fairfield freshman Yorel Hawkins in that All-Star game. Grzeck set the school for career three pointers with 160 and left Hoggard High School as the program's all-time leading rebounder. He played AAU basketball with the Wilmington Warriors.
