Fairfield University (9-14 overall, 7-6 MAAC) returns home for a Sunday afternoon match up against Iona College. Game time is slated for 3:30 pm. The Stags finished its three-game road swing with a 66-61 win over Manhattan College, giving the Stags a 2-1 mark during the stretch. The Stags won their last two games on the road trip, also defeating Niagara University by a 76-72 margin. Junior Herbie Allen led the Fairfield attack with 15 points, one of four starters to reach double figures in the game. Mike Evanovich (12 points), Greg Nero (10 points), and Jonathan Han (10 points) joined Allen for that honor. Han remains the team's leading scorer with 11.1 points per game, the only Fairfield player scoring more than 10 points per game. Anthony Johnson, who has come off the bench in the last two games, moved into second place among his teammates with 9.4 points per game. He is also the squad's top rebounder with 7.2 caroms per contest.

Iona College (10-15 overall, 6-7 MAAC) enters today's game with a three-game winning streak that was extended with a 66-59 win over Canisius College on Friday night. Gary Springer tallied his third double double of the season with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Dexter Gray tied his career high with 20 points. Gray was the team's top scorer in seven of the team's first 11 games, but did not return to the top of the leaderboard until Friday night, a span of six weeks. He enters tonight's game as the Gaels top scorer, netting 11.0 points per game. Milan Prodanovic and Gary Springer are also averaging in double figures with 10.3 and 10.2 points per game, respectively. Prodanovic represents the team's top three-point shooting threat with 48 long-range jumpers in 25 appearances. He places ninth in the MAAC for three pointers per game with 1.92 per game.
