Jamal Turner2008-09
Jamal Turner begins his first season as a member of the
Fairfield University basketball program, and looks to break into
the lineup as a play maker. While he has the ability to score
points, the Massachusetts native is more effective getting the ball
into the right player's hands at the right moment. His ability to
pass the basketball could make him an invaluable player on the
roster. As the season progresses, Turner should be in the mix for
more playing time.
Before
Fairfield
Turner comes to Fairfield after attending The Tilton School. While
there, Turner developed into an outstanding guard who could score
from anywhere on the floor, but at the same time, could effectively
set up an offense. He averaged better than six assists per game as
a senior, which helped The Tilton School to a successful season in
2007-08. He achieved success in the classroom as well, as he earned
a spot on The Tilton School's Academic Honor Roll.
