Shimeek Johnson2008-09
Shimeek Johnson brings versatility to the court this season, having
the ability to score from anywhere on the court in practically any
set. His versatility should lead him to quality minutes at the
forward position. His size and speed makes him a threat from
anywhere on the hardwood. He can score inside the lane, but also
has the capability to accumulate points from behind the three-point
line. As he gains experience, Johnson could be among the team's
leading scorers.

Johnson developed into one of Bishop Maginn High
School's top scorers over the course of his career. As a junior,
Johnson netted 12 points per game before raising that scoring
average to 15.7 per contest. He regularly scored 20 or more points
as a senior with his career high scoring out put reaching 29
points. By the end of his career, Johnson earned All-League,
All-County, and All-State honors at Bishop Maginn High School.
