The forward tallied two three-point shots at St. Francis, N.Y. which led to his career high of six points. He also secured a personal best two rebounds and two assists in that game. Grzeck played a season-high 12 minutes in the game, his only game with more than 10 minutes of action, and averaged three-plus minutes per contest. Grzeck netted his third three pointer of the season against Georgetown, playing six minutes against the Hoyas. He appeared in 11 games during the 2007-08 campaign and finished with nine points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Before Fairfield
Sean Grzeck came to Fairfield after a successful career at Hoggard High School where he helped the basketball team capture the school's first two sectional championships (2006 and 2007). He earned the Mideastern Conference player of the year award in his senior season after averaging 16 points and nine rebounds per game. Grzeck's post-season awards also included All-Conference and All-Area accolades as a junior and as a senior. He was invited to the East-West All-Star Game in North Carolina, one of 20 players in the state chosen for the honor. He was a teammate with Fairfield teammate Yorel Hawkins in that All-Star game. Grzeck set the school record for career three pointers with 160 and left Hoggard High School as the program's all-time leading rebounder. He played AAU basketball with the Wilmington Warriors.
