Men's Basketball Starts Four-Game Road Swing With Trip To Siena

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Stags will start a four-game road swing that beginson Monday night when they take on Siena College at the Times Union Center. The game will tip-off at 7 pm and will broadcast on the Madison Square Garden (MSG) network.

Fairfield comes off a double-digit win over Saint Peter's College which places it in third-place, one game behind Iona College. The Stags received a double-double from Anthony Johnson, his 10th of the season, as well as another 20-point game from Derek Needham. Needham has posted back-to-back 20-point contests.

Siena remains unbeaten in MAAC play at 13-0 and has not lost a MAAC game since February, 2009. The Saints bring in the nation's longest win streak into this game, posting 14 straight victories to date. Alex Franklin leads the team in scoring at 16.4 points per game, while Ryan Rossiter is the only student-athlete in the MAAC who is averaging a double-double (13.9 ppg, 10.6 rpg).

After this game, the Stags will head to Rider on Friday night for a match up with the Broncs on Friday, February 12. That game will also be televised as ESPNU has added it to its lineup.
