POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) - Eric Siegrist scored 15 points and Chris Handy added 11 points and 13 rebounds to lead Marist past Fairfield 59-50 Tuesday night.
After trailing 26-22 at halftime, Fairfield (8-6) took a 32-29 lead with 15:06 to play. But the Red Foxes (5-9) used a 10-0 spurt over the next three minutes to take the lead for good at 39-32.
Will McClurkin had eight points and eight rebounds for Marist, which has won four of its last five games.
Terrence Todd scored 14 points for Fairfield, which was outrebounded 39-23.
Rob Thomson had 12 points for the Stags, and Deng Gai added 11 points and three
steals.
