BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - Keydren Clark scored 31 points and St. Peter's overcame a 16-point deficit to beat Fairfield 84-78 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game.

St. Peter's (14-11, 9-7 MAAC) trailed most of the game, but went on a 23-2 run in the second half that turned the game around in less than six minutes.

It was the eighth victory in nine games for the Peacocks, who tied Fairfield for third place in the conference. The Stags (12-14, 9-7) have lost four straight and have blown second-half leads of at least eight in each of the last three.

Corey Hinnant added 15 points for St. Peter's and Ron Yates had 14 points and eight rebounds.

Terrence Todd led Fairfield with 23 points. Danny Oglesby scored 12 and Deng Gai had 12 rebounds and nine blocks.

Clark, the nation's leading scorer, made 6-of-12 from 3-point range.
