FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University men's basketball team returns to the Arena at Harbor Yard for the start of a three-game home stand. The Stags host Iona College on Tuesday, January 23 with game time slated for 7:30 pm. Head Coach Ed Cooley and his players look to continue their winning ways by posting their third straight win.
A contest will be held during the pre-game reception for one lucky student to become a Fairfield Student Coach during the game. The Student Coach will get to sit on the bench, and get to be in the huddles. Coach Cooley will also give the student coach his lucky Fairfield tie.
The rest of the home stand includes a Friday night match up against Saint Peter's College, a game which will be televised on ESPNU at 7 pm. The doubleheader is Bank Of America Night. The final date of the home stand is January 28 with the men hosting Niagara at 1:30 pm, the first game of another basketball doubleheader.
