FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University men's basketball team hopes to continue its season with a post-season bid to the National Invitational Tournament. The tournament pairings will be announced on Sunday night, following the NCAA tournament selections.
The Stags anticipate receiving a bid to the 2003 NIT tournament, and are preparing for possibly hosting a game at the Arena at Harbor Yard on either Monday, March 17 or Tuesday, March 18. The game and opponent will be determined. Tickets are now on sale for that possible first-round home game.
Ticket prices are $18 for a mid-court seat, $12 for a corner seat, and $6 for an end court seat.
