Fairfield, Conn. - Jeremy Logan, a forward/guard from Milford Academy, became the latest basketball player to sign with the Fairfield University men's basketball program. The swingman averaged 14.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game with Milford Academy last season.
Before coming attending Milford Academy, Logan played basketball at Salesian High School in New Rochelle. Logan, a Bronx native, also played basketball with the Riverside Church AAU team, a perennial powerhouse whose alums include Elton Brand, Ron Artest and current Fairfield University head coach Tim OToole.
Logan joins a class of newcomers that could be one of the best in Stags history. Incoming freshmen Nick Delfico and Mark Price will play an important role in next years game plan. Plus, OToole brings in Syracuse University transfer Sam Spann for the 1999-2000 campaign. Spann played his freshman season with the Orangemen before sitting out last year.
Delfico, a native of Hawthorne, N.Y., averaged 16 points and nine rebounds per game as a member of the Iona Prep basketball team. He also is a member of the Riverside Church AAU program. Price, who did not play basketball last season, averaged 30 points, eight rebounds and six assists per game at Riverside High School in Buffalo, N.Y.
